Google showcases doodle for World T20 final
NEW DELHI: Internet search titan Google on Sunday showcased a doodle dedicated to the ICC World T20 cricket championship final, which will be played between India and Sri Lanka at Mirpur, Bangladesh.
The colourful illustration put up by Google shows a bowler, cheering fans, batsman playing a shot and stumps and also a fielder catching a ball.
The ICC T20 cricket tournament final will witness two champion teams from Asia fighting it out for the coveted title.
While India won the inauguration T20 title in 2007, Sri Lanka have never won the competition. This would be second consecutive World T20 final for the islanders. Sri Lanka was beaten by West Indies in the last edition in 2012.
